Nazra Quran Syllabus Issued/announced: 50  Marks Allocated


Punjab Textbook Board (PCTB's) allocated fifty (50) marks for the Nazra Quran syllabus in primary schools. Nazra Quran will be taught like others subjects and will be considered as a compulsory subject in Primary schools. There will be 3 periods per week for the first to third grades and 4 periods per week for the fourth and fifth grades.

According to the details received through a letter, after the increment in the law given from the Punjab Assembly, the implementation of the Quran Nazra syllabus as a compulsory subject has been made. Punjab Text Board has also released or issued the syllabus of the Nazra Quran.

According to the notification, Nazra-e-Quran education will be taught as separate compulsory subjects with fifty marks. According to the letter issued, the syllabus for the First class: the first class of First Grade students will be taught Noorani Qaeda and the last four surahs of the Holy Quran.

The third class will be taught the third to eighth Sapara of The Holy Quran. The fourth class will be taught from 9 to 18 Saparas of the Holy Quran. The fifth class will be taught from 19 to 30 Saparas of The Holy Quran. 

The letter said that work is underway for Nazra education for the sixth to twelfth class. In this regard, the syllabus will be announced or issued soon. The Textbook Board has announced that all educational institutions including private and government to make arrangements in this regard.
